I’m an Applied Math undergraduate at Brigham Young University and a research assistant in BYU’s Perception, Control, and Cognition Lab.
I built a chatroom that helped improve polarizing political conversations using large language models. My group published a paper about it in PNAS.
I’m interested in finding how large language models can more generally help us understand and improve our political climate.
I have a lot of interests in software, but I care deeply about software as a discipline. Especially when building large systems where it pays to take the time to do things right.
I’m on GitHub and LinkedIn. You can email me at vin at this domain.
